inexpensive floor jack and engine stand

inexpensive floor jack and engine stand at Harbor Freight for those of you on a tight budget. $49.99 each. Every once and a while they drop stuff down even low for them!

I need an extra floor jack, so I'll stop by HF. Thanks for the heads up, Steve. I know some people say their stuff is crap, and some is, but other items there are fine, and the floor jacks are actually pretty good. No matter what floor jack we buy, they all start leaking after a while, even the expensive Sears jack we have. We've taken two back so far, and the 3rd one is leaking and is going back this week as it is slowly letting the car down under load.

I have a 3T HF jack that replaced a Craftsman(?) which didn't leak, just lowered the vehicle, usually slowly, but other times not, and I didn't even have to do it. The HF will lift one end of my F350 - and doesn't leak so far - and is a heavy brute. Some of their tools, as you say, are fine. Others wont last one job.

Steve, do you have the item number for the jack? I called our local HF and they show one at $ 79.99 on sale but no $ 49.99. You know how these computer sales associates are, if they can't punch in a number they are lost.

    Thanks Steve.

Every Harbor Freight tool eventually turns into a hammer. :-)

I buy a bit of their stuff. Again, some is good some not so much.

I have one of their 1000# engine stands and a small welder. I will be picking up their shop crane soon with a coupon for only $99.00. ($100 of the regular price) Can't beat that.

Jack is #34271 - 3 ton floor jack with a coupon. Shoot me your email and I will forward the email to you. It's says it's good until 1/30/11.

I've been thinking about buying a jack. I should probably jump on this. Thanks for the heads up!
