Another fellow was crushed under a car just the other day near here..I can think of at least five guys who were killed in my time by machinery of some kind.. . most were under something..I have worked around a lot of forklifts and boom trucks let alone under cars and trucks... They can be an accident just waiting to happen..There is no job so important that safety does not come first...I plain don't get under anything untill I am absolutely... positively certain it is safe.............The cylinders have to be inline.!!!

Back in the old dayz I had a reapir shop/body shop. One day I walked in and an employee was under a car NO JACK STANDS ......NO JACK STANDS just a jack. Said he just had one little thing to do. I am normally a purdy easy goin'... calm person, but that one set me off. Let's just say he didn't do that in my shop again.
