chevy 4x4 right front drive axle removal
Howdy gang,
My friend has a '94 Chevy 1500 4x4 pick up that the right front axle is stripped out in the outer u-joint.
We got the inner bolts off and the outer nut but can't seem to get the old axle out.
Is there a trick.
The ball joints are riveted to the A arm.
Thanks for any help
cheers

Remove upper ball joint nut and seperate upper ball joint stud from steerin arm assy by lifting up on upper a arm. Then plenty of room to remove axle.

Yeah...a sorry attempt at it.
Trouble is it's raining, has been now for a day or three, so I can't get out and push dirt around, (which is what I want to do,) everything would just turn to mud.
I've got plenty of work to do in the shed, but I'm not in the mood right now.
And I'm bored.
So I'm sitting in my office, cruising the interweb and making a nuisance of myself on various sites.
'Cos I can.
So I am.
