    Sub frame

     



    Have a 1938 Olds and need the name of a good dependable shop/garage in central New Jersey that sub frame cars.

    I had a 38 chevy which is the same frame I put a mustang front end on the existing frame the rails are almost the same width, then narrowed the existing rear for a ford 9" that I narrowed.

    If you do find someone, make sure you ask for references. Go see other cars the shop did. I have heard horror stories from guys who paid good money to have stuff done, only to find out the work was shoddy. Then when it was done right all the work he paid good money to have done had to be torn out. You want to get it done right the first time.

    Amen to that! It is amazing how many cobblers out there pass themselves off as professionals.
