My nova (73) has the door hinges welded in. The bottom one on the drivers dr. needs replacing.. The only way I figure I'll get it is pull the pins and get the door off. then try making repairs... Anyone got another answerCharlie

drill threw the hinge assembly and bolt it to the door frame slot holes move till it fits the best then weld hinge on then plug weld bolt holes up or just leave the bolts in and tack weld hinge.many of the new cars and truck s had weld on hings and most of the time the new doors needed some tune ups till they start selling bolt ons hinge kits with the new doors i have use flat head allens counter sink the hinges slot the door frameLast edited by pat mccarthy; 03-20-2011 at 09:12 PM.
