agreed too much jet but it works plus the engine needs so much accelerator off the line that its stupid. But also this motor is probably making its peak at a really low rpm no convertor to speak of
I had it on a 1/8 mile track leave it in drive and let it shift at about 3800 rpm 3 shifts 8.20 at 86 mph, shift manualy buzz to 5000 and gain .15 of a second 8.05 ,60 fts and et have improved with more fuel.
The frankenstein quadrajet i had in the car was the same as it dropped so much fuel down it to run good i couldnt get in in the carb fast enough.
