Best way to take dried weatherstrip cement off
Hey guys,
My running boards and fenders have rubber seals between them and the body. It is separating in some places and needs to be reglued, i assume it is glued to the body parts with weatherstrip adhesive.
What is the best way to take dried weatherstrip glue off both the rubber and the body parts?Girls love Hot Rods too

Adhesive remover. 3M at your auto parts store or a better choice would be a citrus based adhesive remover.I use "Rapid Remover"®. It won't hurt paint, but it always pays to be cautious."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

after you remove the adhesive, you may want to wipe the rubber with acetone to make sure it will accept the glue .
