first aid kit a must but also keep new shop rags on hand for those REALLY BIG jobs.

Superglue for little cuts, electrical tape for deep finger cuts. If it's a bigger cut than a strip of electrical tape can handle, then it's a clean rag wrapped tight and a drive to the nearest ER. (only happened three times, and one was from a DVD player! )
As for fire extinguisher, one outside the shop, one outside the front door, one in the kitchen exit. Only had to fire one off once, and that was for the lawn mower of all things..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

I think bandaids will be added to the paper towel section. Also liquid bandaid(like superglue, but actually made for cuts! ) I like the multiple fire extinguisher idea. We seem to have them all over the place but not smartly placed as Firebird mentioned above!Last edited by stovens; 05-28-2012 at 01:11 AM.
