41 Ford Pickup Chassis
I'm looking for a source to get a good chassis for my 41 Ford Truck build. I want an original style frame with IFS. I currently have a home-made frame that someone started building for drag racing, but I want an original style frame to build my street rod on. Not sure where to start. Any help is immensely appreciated! If anyone needs more info to give a good recommendation, ask away. Thanks!!!

Mike, I think the 41 Ford pickup uses the same chassis as the 35-40 Ford cars. There's are tons of people who build strong aftermarket chassis for these so it probably boils down to how much you wanna pay. There a guy from Chatsworth, GA who advertises on ebay who looks like he builds a pretty nice chassis, too. Maybe you should check him out if you're not to far from there. Just a thought. Ford | eBay
Another alternative would be to find a good original chassis and modify it yourself but sometimes you can probably be more cost effective by buying the new one. Hope that helps a little.

Mike there are many manufacturers out there for this chassis. The chassis is basicaly the same for 35 to 40 including 41 pickup for Ford cars and trucks. You can also look on craigslist for these original frames. I am building a chassis now for my 40 pickup and I am using a set of TCI rails and the rest is done by me. All depends on your skill level and how much you want to do or just buy it done as a roller.
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
