BOB; {Butchering Implement?} Would that include My 1932 file that was used for trimming my old Horses big fat toe nails. That is now used for automotive purposes since the horse is now gone. HE! HE! HE!

I got some of those full panels from J.C. Whitney and they aren't even close to original. They weren't stamped they were cut and bent by a sheet metal shop and even after a ton of work they look like home made panels." Im gone'

Ya Al Show; A couple of the companies that supposedly specailize in Falcons and Rancheros Said that they had seen those type fenders and that they would'nt sell them. One company told me that they had purchased some of them for a couple of customers and that they got so many complaints that they won't sell any more of them. No one is making them any more. So I will probably end up cutting out the bad parts and welding in new pices of sheet metal.

Well guys just found some rear 1/4 panels for the Ranchero.
After shipping they will cost around $900 dollers for both sides and they don't wrap around the back by the tail lights an there is no cut out for the gas cap. The one good thing is that they are supposed to be stamped out. And no Al there not from
JC Whitney. Just kidding Al HE! HE! Oh they are from
Dearborn Classics I thought I had tried them already, I'm sure Streets Suggested Them Did'nt he?

65 Ranchero; This is the side that needs the most attention, Rust thru the front of rear fender. But this is the worst of it.Last edited by vara4; 08-01-2004 at 07:02 AM.

Well thats the 65 Ranchero; I'm working on.
Things I have to do to it are;
1; Send chrome in from dash to get re-chromed.
2; Both front and rear bumpers need Replaced.
3; Replace all 1/4 panels.
4;New front grill and beauty rings for head lights.
5;New sheet metal in bed,from chevy S10.
6; Replace sheet metal on inside of tail gate.
7;Replace all body chrome.
8;Disc front brakes, maybe rear?
9;New Rims american thrust.
10; My new C6 trany I already got for it.
Tear everything apart and sand blast the entire car treat all the metal and repaint it. And this is only if I decide not to re-do the frame to install the 351 Cleveland. I may just leave the frame alone and replace the low compression heads with the 10.5 to 1
[68 V-4 302 heads] I have in the garage. cam, intake, and new carb, headers/w dual exhaust. The 302 thats in it, is a brand new engine. Just don't like the 8 to 1 compression heads on that motor.
