Question Small Block Chev Motor Mounts

ITS BEEN ABOUT 10 YEARS SINCE I BUILT MY LAST ROD AND I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT YEAR/MODEL OF MOTOR MOUNTS I USED. THE ONES I USED HAD THE METAL PART WITH 3 HOLES THAT MOUNTS TO THE SIDE OF THE BLOCK, BUT THERE WAS A RUBBER ISOLATER BONDED TO THIS, AND A STEEL PART BONDED TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ISOLATER THAT HAD A FLANGE WITH 2 HOLES IN IT FACING OUT AWAY FROM THE ENGINE BLOCK. I HAD A PEICE OF MECHANICAL TUBING MOUNTED AT 90 DEGREES TO A 1 1/2" SQUARE TUBE WHICH WAS WELDED TO THE FRAME RAIL, AND THE TUBE FIT BETWEEN THE FLANGES, AND A BOLT PASSED THRU BOTH FLANGES AND MY MECHANICAL TUBING TO SUPPORT THE MOTOR. DOES ANYBODY OUT THERE RECOGNIZE WHAT YEAR AND MODEL OF G.M. MOTOR MOUNT THIS WAS?

If you go to your local parts store and ask them to interchange a Doan number 2267. There are a few of them that fit that description that have different dimensions between the ears for that tube. It was usually on any small block chevy in the 70's. I'm not at work right now, but if you don't get any other useable information before tomorrow morning I'll give you a slew of numbers that will fit.

I checked my stock this morning and dug out the ones I remember using. The difference is on the outside measurement, not the inside. If you go to your local parts store armed with these numbers, they should be able to cross at least one of them. If not, go to a different parts store.

    Anchor Doan 2267
    G.M. 3904080
    Westar EM2267
    Balkamp 602-1106
    Borg Warner 31-2267
    Sealed Power 270-2267
    TRW 82267

This mount has the safety bracket built in. I hope this helps.
