Can't you just take a measurement of a 32 radiator to see what size it is?

there are radiator companies out there that make radiators for 28-29 A's. Why not call one of them to ask dimensions.

No dimensions anyone has on their car will mean anything to you about your car. The only way to do it is set the grilleshell up so it looks right on yours (top no higher than the top of the cowl) then measure the distance you have between the top of the frame and the inside top of the shell. If you try to go off of someone elses dimensions you may end up with a $ 795 doorstop.

I agree with Don. Fab up the '32 grill shell on your car and take the dimensions from there. There are companies out there like PRC that will build a '32 radiator to your specifications. And it will not cost your almost $800.00 if you go aluminum.

Don and Lynn are giving you great advice, it may not be what you want to hear but Don hit the nail on the head, someone else's dimensions will only lead to trouble and Lynn is correct regarding PRC's radiators. I had them build the radiator for my '32 to my specs including which side the inlet/outlets were on and their diameters, even had them add a couple of extra fittings for an electric fan temp probe in the bottom tank and a steam vent line from the engine in the top tank. They are great people to work with and as Lynn mentioned, a lot less than Walker's $799 (including my A/C condenser and Spal cooling fan with shroud).

Get the 32 grille shell mounted. Now get yourself some cardboard and hot glue. Start fabbing up the radiator in cardboard and that way you have a good mock up piece to either change where you need it or take more precise measurements from .

I've voiced my love affair with PRC radiators before.......super nice people to deal with and their radiators are a work of art. They will put any tank or outlet configuration you need and the radiators are efficient......sometimes too efficient and you have to bump up the thermostat to get the car to come up to 180.
I have a BrassWorks on my 27 that is over 20 years old and is on it's last legs (the engine shakes the h*** out of it so it springs a little leak now and then) I am going to have to replace it and will go with a PRC.
