    Drive shaft question

     



    What is the normal runout on a drive shaft I've got some bad vibration front is out of round .015-.025 middle is .035 back is .052

    I've read that driveshaft runout of 0.004" to 0.005" is OK for street use, but you're ten times that. I'd say you may have found your source.

    A lot of drive line vibration comes from untimed, unaligned U joints---- does yours vibrate on acceration or does it get worse with speed???
