driving too fast with the windows down..............guess what happened
the headliner sucked down on my head! it went back up but two of the "bows" did not go into there alignment holes. I got rid of my old t-bird when this happened, as it's headliner ripped. This one is not ripped, and i do not want to do more damage.
I pulled off the trim and the fabric is wedged in very tightly. Any tips will be greatly appreciated, thanks. '65 LTD 4 door hdtp

The only way I see this being repaired is to take the headliner loose from the sides on both sides. I'd say a foot to foot and a half from where the bows came loose. The headliner is normally glued at the very edged to a channel from front to back. Each bow slides into it's sewn tube that goes from left to right across the headliner. Your going to have to carefully pull the headliner loose on both sides to be able to locate the holes and also verfify your bows are not distored when they pulled loose. If the headliner tubes are not torn, then slide the bows back in place and insert them in thier holes. Restretch the liner and glue the headliner back to the channel and use clothespins to hold them till the glue cures. Someone else may have an easier way. -robertKeep on cuttin and gluein.. thank you Robert,
any idea how to keep this from happening again? It is getting annoying.
I will try to repair it again tomorrow, the fabric is wanting to tear where it is glued.
