Up until about 2-3 years ago I would agree but after reading many posts on a couple RV forums, found that most of these products have a silicone emulsions base, (good luck figuring that out !!) and actually tend to dry out and deteriorate rubber products even though they don't appear that way. What I've ended up using is some stuff called Protectant 303. I use it on all my vehicle tires as well as the rubber roof of my trailer. I probably still have 2-3 partially filled spray bottles of Armor All and other products like that - here's their "Tech" info: 303 Products, Inc.: Tech Facts Volume 1 (and no, I have no financial interest)

It works for me and many others with RV's
