Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

out of site are three more tool boxs. Lots of tools that don't get used everyday but cost to much to go rent when you live in the sticks you have to have everything.Last edited by cffisher; 11-15-2011 at 05:44 PM.

A buddy of mine from High School has worked at a Snap-On cabinet plant since we graduated back in the 70's. We've talked about some of the toolboxes that come out of there. Amazing. I wouldn't have any money left to put tools in it."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

Could not help but remember the Mechanic we hired a few yrs back. It took
a ton and half truck to get his tool boxs to the shop. He had it all and could
not fix much of anything, but did look good. He lasted 90 days.

One of my boxes is a KRL three bank models.....and it is so full that I had to buy another Snap On box for the overflow. The danged box is so heavy, it is difficult to move and like a big ship, hard to turn and stop. The two bank models are probably the best solution....have multiple boxes. Of course, one advantage of the big box is the fact that stealing it requires a fork lift. And, when I die, it can substitute as a coffin.

When I moved into the shop I am renting, empty the little craftsman Pro series box got stuck on the lip of the ramp for my trailer and I wasn't ready for it.At only 375 lbs to 400 lbs it chased me down the ramp.I have out grown that and have been passively been looking for something bigger.I looked at what craftsman wants for a side box in that series and it is outrageous.Good Bye

I could never go back to a box that had 18" deep drawers! My last 3 boxes have all had 24" deep drawers, so much nicer to fit tools in by groups or in the race box, by application. For a weekender box, the smaller boxes are probably fine, but when you're using the box every day there's no such thing as too big or too nice of a box!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
