Oil filter problem
I just re powered my 1930 Model A which I built 43 years ago. Back then I used a Chevy 265 V8. I replaced it with a
350 but have clearance problems between my steering box and oil filter. Corvette used to have an offset filter adapter which would work great but they are no longer available. any other suggestions? Don't want to use a remote as it is pretty busy in this area with steering box and clutch slave cylinder. Someone must make an adapter to use a smaller diameter filter. I only need about an inch for clearance. Suggestions appreciated.

Speedway Motors has a 90 degree adapter, but it's pricey. I would think there are others out there, too. Chevy Oil Filter Angle Adapter - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed ShopRoger

You will have to check this out but my suburban has a 350 engine..It is 4x4 it uses a smaller dia. filter and is on a slite angle. That is probably a GM addapter, can't imagine them casting a different block for that.
