Not pretty, but I bet it works pretty well. Not a bad price and you could fit a lot of big parts in there.

I just spent 5 hours at our sandblaster Friday, cleaning the intake on Dans rpu, and it is a real disappointment. It is the second one from HF that I have bought and both leak like a sieve. I threw away the first one then I looked at them again in HF and it looked like they had improved the sealing, so I bought number 2. I even have it rigged up with a shop vac and homemade water filter setup, but sand still surrounds the blast cabinet when I am done.

One of these days I am going to have to spring for a really good, professional one and stop putting up with this crappy one.

That is the one I want, I just have to save up $ 1200 to $ 1500 for one. Every time I see them using one of those on some car or bike show it makes me want one all the more.

I think if I where to build one,I would use a exterior pressurize 100lb pot piped into the cabinet with a dead man gun and not the siphon.Really for the extra safety cabinet or not a respirator should be used. That silicon dust isn't good for you.

Grizzly sells some really good value equipment, or at least they used to. I have several pieces of their woodworking machines, and while they are made in China they spec things right and do enough QC to maintain their quality levels.
