It is a good product, the only thing to think about is that if the surface that it covers ever needs repair, it could be an unfunny project. Some places think they are selling gold, but wait there is more. Here is a link to a place that sells the bulk and smaller packages, however it does not have Foose's face on the box so it is discounted pretty good, I am sure you can live without a Foose face on a box.
Amazon.com: dynomat bulk kitIs that your face or did your pants fall down?

Whatever brand you choose, you should also get the aluminum tape to cover the seams. You will also need a roller. I got the tape and roller at Home Depot. The roller is needed make sure you get the mat down nice and tight and in all the creases. The tape should also be rolled as it makes for a better looking job.

The tape is to keep the tar from oozing out from between the seams. I forgot to mention the tape good one.Is that your face or did your pants fall down?

I use the thero-tec product. The roller i use is the one that has 'teeth' and it is small enough to get inside of door cavities etc

I used two 4'x10' rolls of EZ Cool Automotive Insulation EZ Cool Automotive Insulation heat barrier and noise reduction for cars, trucks, classic cars, street rods and much more on floors, roof, firewall, etc; and then one 1'x12' roll of B-Quiet Extreme B-Quiet sound deadening materials - B-Quiet Extreme in the doors. My total cost was in the $200 for my materials only. It can take several/many hours (8 to 10 for me, but I work slow...) to do a really good job putting in insulation material for full coverage, so that $200 would have been a drop in the bucket for having it done in a shop. I wouldn't be surprised if a complete DynaMat job is in the $2000 range?Last edited by rspears; 12-22-2011 at 09:59 AM.

Small coupe, $400ish - depending on what your motor is. If you've got a blown bigblock i wouldn't spend all that much, just some heat protection in the toeboards, firewall, floor etc; i'd do the sound deadenor the doors for mass so when they shut they do so with authority. But you ain't gonna get it quiet. You can forget that part.

I did the headliner and whole floor from firewall to the rear in my wagon. Headliner took about 10 hrs over 2 days. Floor took 25 hrs over a week.
Thank you Roger. .
