HELP new clutch can't push pedal down
New member here, I just put a 350 chevy in my 42 chevy 1/2 ton I have a saginaw 4 speed 366 rear-end, my problem is I didn't have enough room for a mechanical linkage so i found a cable and made brackets to mount it I bought and installed a new clutch kit now I can't push the clutch pedal more than 1/2 inch before it stops, any ideas? thanks in advance

I will take some pictures, after i posted the first time, I went out and looked at all my adjustments, there is an allen head bolt (looks like a plug) that I thought would remove the little ball for the throw out arm, it tightened the arm and I was able to get some pedal movement, does that make sense?

Sorry I couldn't get back, I solved my problem, one of the ears on the clutch arm was broken, so it couldn't pivot, works great now thanks.

Sorry for the Hijack, Hotrod46!! My real reason for the post was to see if you'd checked Crutchfield, not to divert your build thread. My bad....
