I did it before but not lately.
It takes a while, probably about a month.

Not Kurt, but it's a great marketing strategy. They advertise the big rebate, and 50% of the people forget to pick up their special form, and 75% of those who do take the form home never take time to send it in!! They sell more product at full price, and give about 10% of the customers a few bucks back. Sounds pretty smart to me....

Rog, don't leave out the part of how much that huge list of names and addresses is worth when it hits the open market!!!!!!! Probably make as much off the list of names and addresses as they do off the actual product sales!!!! Even with my little business, over the years I've had many offers to buy my customer list!!!! I guess if you go in for the mail in rebate offers, you know what you're getting yourself into, right?? oh yeah, if the list contained phone numbers as well as addresses, the offer was always higher! Free enterprise at it's best, I suppose... and now look what the 'puter thieves can do with these lists!!!!
