    ? 91 sbc crate.

I have a 84 c-10 that had a 91 crate engine installed . The original engine was a 305 and the crate is a 350 , 76 cc heads. I am also planning on a rebuild by the end of the year. I am running the stock exhaust pipes thru a cat and stock muffler. I am also running a turbo 350 and 31" tall tires. I am looking for increased fuel economy and not horse power, all though a little horsepower wont hurt. I would like to keep every thing as "stock" as possible since this a daily driver.
Since I am planning a rebuild would it be a good idea to install vortec heads while keeping everything as "stock" as possible?
Or, since fuel economy is my main goal rebuild what i have and use a stock or RV cam? Aluminum intake?
