Exactley Uncle Bob, Wheel locks are to keep an honest man honest. Besides I've got wheel lock tools that will take em off as fast as you can with the key/puzzle, for the idiots that bring their vehicles in for wheel off work and forget they hid the key in the medicine cabinet. (Which seems to be 90% of the customers, the other 10% don't even know they have locks and have no idea where they key is)

I`ll never put wheel locks on again as the wife lost her key when we first met, I had to use a cold chisel and sledge to split it...Gary use a pitbull,,,,

Locks are a pain, as stated. If you think you have to have them look at Gorilla's as opposed to the puzzle locks. Much easier to use, but none are really worth the money.

Like Jerry says, if they want the wheels & tires they'll simply steal the truck, take it somewhere quiet and take what they want, leaving the rest. Wheel locks are a waste of money.

Somewhere in my hoard of useless treasures I believe I still have the McGuard's and key that my '86 Mustang GT had when delivered. They probably have a total of 250 miles on them before removal - if you want them, come on down to the Capital District. They can become yours for the price of a Dunkin Donuts coffee and coffee cake muffin (the #2 special @3.29)

Gary - might just have to see what happens at Syracuse for the Right Coast show. I didn't make it last year, so am due - but that gas price ......... we'll see if we can get together then.

I have heard long ago the locking lug nuts with the star like tool to remove them that thieves would drive a 5/16 socket on them and get them off. I have often wondered why the crook's didn't use their ingenuity in a positive way.
