3 carb intake that you've never seen before - 3 holley 1904's for a jeep!
I'm about done with this, it has been a trial i can tell you. The middle carb has idle etc and fabricated choke, the front and rear carbs have no idle but i made accelerator linkages etc for them. The throttle linkage is progressive, the center carbs gets over 1/4 open when the others begin opening, they all come to WOT together.
I am near done with the headers and will start trial fitting on the vehicle today, then i'll add the throttle linkage, pcv stuff, fuel block and lines (at this point i am working on my bench)
This goes on a jeep with a 258" motor.

Very nice work!!! Never one of my favorite engines, but certainly a good stout little unit and sure will look great with tri-power and headers!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Like those clear sight fuel bowls. Did you pressure test the manifold? I had a friend who made one from tubing and although the welds looked good, he did find one or two pinholes that needed to be filled.

Thanks for the kind words guys, i appreciate it.
I haven't pressure tested the intake as yet, i have some additional welding to do and clean up some of the tubing welds before i try to test it. It will be HPC coated and that stuff will seal any lessthan pinholes.
The pics i posted where from when i was celebrating the completion of linkage making. For a couple days i didn't think i could get them to work at all but hardheaddedness prevailed. What i lack in blistering mechanical brilliance i make up for in perserverance.
Heres a couple pics of the intake right after welding. I could have made it like a log style and saved myself a ton of work, but the log style have terrible flow and distribution. I designed this for smooth even flow - the bad part was that it placed the carbs so close to each other that i had to hand make the linkages. If i had to do it over, i would do it the same way.

Back in highschool a friend of mine had a 59 ford six with 3 on tree... we made a 3 carb intake from a stock one with 2 extra flanges. It worked but his dad had a fit.( family car)

I think it looks just right; in fact, better. Nice work.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.

A brief update. It is all together and running, it is at the exhaust shop and i thought it would've been back by now.
A major problem is that those holleys don't have throttle springs and the front/rear carbs won't shut proper. I want to take them back apart and get a spring on the shaft if possible rather than an external spring.
All things considered, i am pleased at this point. It acts like it has potential and they just might work really good.
