HWorrell....more questions on the 98 escort....

The inertia switch is still down, all pulleys move. Lookin around in the engine compartment we found a mangled rubber hose connecting a PCV valve. Would this prevent the escort from starting??

All your PVC valve does is it allows blow by gases to flow into the intake manifold, where they are burned.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
