Anybody know anything about these guys?

http://www.midwesthotrodsandmuscleca...Roadster.htmlI shot them an email today and didn't get a response. Nice site, and great prices but in today's economy, I don't want to start something that they cash and can't finish.

Sometimes you have to live by the old adage..........if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.
When it comes to needing anything for my hot rod, I stick with Jegs or Summit. There may be others online but you have to be careful.

While I know nothing about this company, it almost appears he is spread too thin with two businesses/same building plus not a lot of build history in his "About Us" section. Next - an unknown make glass '32 body along with an unknown make chassis (plus mostly unknown brand other items) appears to be a fair amount less money then my Brookville '31 and TCI Stage 2-1/2 chassis (I didn't buy all of the S3) and all purchased several years ago before price rises. May be a great deal, great way to go but Caveat Emptor

I think I'd want to visit him in his shop before I made any decision. Like Dave says, whose stuff is he using and how much does he do himself.

Thanks for the feedback, it all makes sense. Assuming that you've looked at his website, do any of you know if there is any particular manufacturer with a good reputation that offers (pretty much) a roller for a 32-5 window?

Most are doing 3 Windows. One of the guys here has been singing praises for New Age Motorsports for their 5 Window Graffiti Coupe. Here's his build thread - 1932 Ford Coupe Project Thread

New Age Motorsports, Bebops, and Downs all make a '32 5 Window Coupe body. From what I have read, several customers of New Age have been very pleased with their packages as well as their customer service. I have seen Bebops bodies, and they look quite nice, but I have never talked with anyone who has owned one. I have not seen Downs' 5 Window body so I really cannot comment on that one.

References are the most important thing!!! When you contact the company, ask them for some of their customer references. If they don't have any, run and hide!!!!! Lots of non big name shops do really premium work and are proud to show you their portfolio and give you references to check out!
