    428 CJ ignition

A friend of mine has a 68 428 CJ Eliminator for some reason I can't figure out he wants to go to electronic ignition... OK Ford guys what do you recommend, and why. I told him to just sell it as he has 4 others, but NO not him.

I slipped in a pertronix into the stock distributor in my (former) Mustang. Worked great, looked stock and never missed a beat! Cheaper than MSD too! LOL..

Why is simple, as he will stop burning out electrodes on his sparkplugs ........There are very simple, all Ford type of conversions out there. Have him yank the distributor out and send out for a conversion, he will be much happier.
