Glad to here you got to the car home. That will go down in history as the longest ride you ever took. Had to have a pretty high pucker factor, one to talk about for sure.I have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it

Wow.....you mean the crank snout was broken off?? How the heck does that happen? I seen motors with blowers have issues with the front of the crank, but jeez...thats not good....BigMo

Could be that the crank shearing off would be a result of the harmonic balancer was loose & wobbley creating one heck of a viberation. Maybe not though, maybe the balancer issues started from a cracked/broken crank?
Whatever it was, it is now an expensive repair.Bug
