i really need input here guys

i just replaced the front end in my 98 chevy chenne and need the alignment finished but i am told that there are metal plugs on the lower control arms that need to be accessed to bring the toe in on the alignment, the alignment shop did what they could b4 closing though i can drive it but i really dis like sinking 2000 dollars into something that wonders to the ditch, my ??? is where are the control arm access points i cant find them anywhere and i have been under this truck all day outside in the snow trying to locate them to pull them out just to save a couple bucks, got me a new a baby coming home soon

Seems to me that the front end on some GM trucks in that era had some "fixed" components that had to be replaced for the front end to be aligned. As I recall, a dealer would replace them under warranty, but only if there was a complaint pointing to an alignment problem, and once out of warranty they charged for the "kit", but I don't recall the details. Might have just been the eccentrics with bolts, replacing fixed washers?? Sorry, CRS is working....
There are plastic "knock out plugs" that must be removed before one can adjust the caster/camber, or at least some were plastic? Here's a link to a discussion about removing them on an '05 - not sure if it's directly applicable or not - How To Remove the Front-End Knock-Outs on a 2005 Chevrolet Pickup | eHow.com Have you checked Chevy Truck forums?

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
