Valve cover problem!
A friend of mine just bought a '97 Honda Civic DX. Although it is not a topic for this website, his problem is simple enough and I am sure all of you have dealt with it before.
He was taking his valve cover off to paint it when he and another friend realized that multiple valve cover screws were broken. I think it is supposed to have like 5 or 6 screws holding it on but at this point he only has 2 screws holding it on and they are only on one side! Does anyone have any home remedies or cheap solutions to this problem? I have heard of kits you can use to bore the screws out but then he would have to get custom screws for the valve and I figured there had to be another way.
Please help before he enters the second stage of maniacle depression!John 3:16 ><>

Just drill the old bolts out, heli coil new threads, buy new bolts, and move on with your life!Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
