Most are good cars - just make sure that the transmission, if automatic, works correctly as some have had problems. A 4 cyl. is bare minimum though will work fine as long as you don't need a quick 0-60. The V6 is great. Original sway bar links in the front can clank but are fairly inexpensive to replace. Original front brake rotors are too soft and need to be replaced - I used Brembo's and Hawk pads, installed at 22K and still on the car and legal (tho an '03, an identical car) at 85,000 when traded. Does an excellent job in the snow with decent tires. Front hubs on some may fail - but usually many miles along.Dave W
