I believe they have a liquid sealer you could swish around inside, but I don't know for sure. Isn't that keg stainless steel?

Is the inside contaminated? If it only had beer in it and has remained sealed then it should be very clean. The beer guy would have put a mild bleach solution in it to kill any residual yeast, sloshed it around and dumped it before rinsing with clean water. To ready it for fuel I'd say a soapy solution sloshed around, a good rinse, drain as much as possible then a bottle of HEET to absorb any small amount of water retained when you fill it. Shouldn't need any type of sealer/liner solution for a keg that held beer at pressure. I'd rather have a clean SS tank than one with an internal coating to slough off and cause you problems later.Roger

Methylated spirits would be another option.
It will soak up the water, kill any yeast residue, and sterilise it all in one go.
And when you tip it out, should you leave some behind, it will quickly and harmlessly evaporate
just my 2c.

Yeah, you're right.
We're saying the same thing essentially.

Yeah, HEET is the product they sell in the places where it gets frigid in winter, to absorb water condensed in fuel tanks to prevent gas lines freezing. Your "Methylated Spirits" had me scratching my head, but Wikipedia explained it for me. Had never heard that term before....Roger

This might be a bit crazy, but here goes:
Dump out the beer, and swish some gas around in it, then dump it out..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
