    Question mystery steering box!

     



    i got this and it will work on my rod.
    but i dont know what it is so i cant get a pitman arm for it.
    the shaft is smooth with 10 splines and the cut out for the bolt.
    any help is as always greatly appreciated!

    after 2 days of letting google be my friend

    i may end up throwing this perfectly good box in the dumpster.
    pitman arms dont exist for it.

    Call your local Ford dealer, and with the OEM box number Joe gave you see if he can give you their number for the pitman arm. Maybe swing by your local 4x4 shop and see if they have anything that matches your splines, too.

    It is a NONE wear item so you'll have to find on at a junk yard, swap meet or car/truck forums.

    And I am asking over on HAMB to see if anyone may have one, if so I'll forward the info to u.....joe
