    Bad Day

Bad news, I went to the river to take some pictures & didn't get the truck in park. Downer.

Hopefully for your sake, it really is a joke. Because that would really suck.

But, did your truck really coast to it's death in the river?

I'm rubbing my magic twanger froggie in hopes it will turn out to not be your car. This April Fool stuff is wearing me out today since I've already fallen for a couple.

A guy down the river had an electric winch for rent. Imagine my surprise when the truck, obviously stuck in the mud by now, was so heavy the bridge just drooped like silly putty under the load, yet at the same time the sheet metal on the cab held up just fine. I'm going to throw a 6x6 over the gap in the bridge & give it another go.

At least the rental guy said the winch would be free since today is the first of April, so all is well.
