    282cam stock heads???

Will the comp cam kit k11-678-5 with 590 598 lift work on stock heads? I have a 70s 454 and also bout the comp cam 1.7 7/16 high energy rocker arms and pushrods. Wondering if I need my heads worked or if they will work with this setup without work to them. I new to building engines

your stock bbc heads will need new valve springs for cam .. the valve guides may need to be cut down for more room to valve reatainer this has alot to do with what valve seal you use . stock head s may have valve rotators ex side . you want to use eliminaters when you move up to a better valve spring
