    Update on wagon

Got the wagon back from the alignment shop. A good friend helped me take it with his trailer. Since it has the 4 wheel independent suspension, had to have the rear set up as well as front.
It was aligned with struts on all four corners so it could be set at ride height. Got it home and finally put the coilovers on all 4 corners. I let it sit over nite to let the springs settle some and then began the adjusting to bring ride height up to my measurements I took before it was aligned.
Took it for a ride around the block and found out something......................I had no power steering!!!...WTF...........Nothing leaking, hoses in the right position, no noises or anything from the pump. And on the road at speed it steered ok, just when have to make tight turn .....it's like a manual rack.
Called Fatman and found out something I didn't know.....................the power R & P they sent me with the front end came from a 79-83 MS2. The MS2 rack has to have a 1200PSI pump, mine is a Saginaw GM style at 800 psi.
I got hold of Tuff Stuff Perf and they have a Saginaw 1200 psi with keyed shaft. Should get it by Fri and then change it.
Ain't it always something...............like they say..................if building hot rods was easy, everyone would be doing it.

Like you say, it's always something! Glad you got to the bottom of it quickly, and before investing a bunch of time & energy tearing things apart.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
