    webbing

I bought new inner fenders and the Webbing between the old inner fenders and fenders on my 40 ford p/u a peer to be cloth with something on them, paint, sealer I don't know, Looking for input as to what is best for the job. How thick ? Type of material ? Also being the truck cab sits on wooden blocks {all except the very front mount which was rubber } I don't see where any rubber would be used ? Or do you still put rubber between the blocks and frame rail ? Is the rubber still necessary to allow some give between cab and frame ? Thanks for the inputs !

Here's a link to Model A style webbing Frame Welt it can be trimmed to any width, I used adhesive backed foam for my 1937 Dodge pickup, like this 1 8" x 2" Neoprene Foam Rubber with Adhesive Back | eBay .

I used coil spring "helper" rubber for body mounts Superior RideEFFEX™ 18-1701 - Spring Booster | O'Reilly Auto Parts

    Hope this helps.
