Angry hope its ok....what to do

when i had put my cam in i set it it all up the only thing was there were 2 timming marks on the bottom gear but i only seen 1...we rolled it over and something wasnt right there was no compression so we tore it back apart set everything up the way it should be checked the timming chain and noticed ther were 2 god damn marks set it up and it ran and we set the valves. i noticed a couple days later that i had a couple rockers that werent quite straight and found out that i had some bent push rods i'm guessing from whrn the timming was off on the timming gear. so i took then all out and repalced them with another set and all seems good. but i kinda wonder if it had hurt anything else...i was thinking about taking the heads back off and see if everything is ok..i was told it should be ok and just do a compression test to see if everything is ok....what should i do...i dont wanna take the heads back off but i dont know.....

First run a compression test. You may have gotten lucky and just bent some pushrods.
