Help finding a couple new 1970 Buick Riviera emblems
I went to several Buick Riviera catalog sites looking for a couple emblems with no luck.
On both sides on the rear quarter panels all the way to the back there is a big 4 inch round emblem with a R. the back ground looks to be a red reflector. Both of these are broken and cracked with pieces missing from them. In all the catalogs I have looked in I have not seen these. Anyone know where I might be able to score a couple of these to replace them???? These are not the same as the R center cap emblems for the hubs or rims.
Thanks
Kurt

Ya I have checked the on line OPG but not the catalog they send out.
No Roger I have not joined any Buick of Riviera car groups.
Hey Mello ya I have been looking on ebay, guess I just have to keep looking.
If I can't find them when I take it in to be painted I'll just have them patch the holes for them.

I'd think the Riviera group might be your best source, and it's not out of sight on price - Riviera Owners Assocation Home PageRoger

That's them Denny. Thanks.
Here is a link to a car show, there will be a big photo and under that will be some smaller photo's you can click on to and view.
The 2nd and 3rd Photo's look like the Buick I have. In the 3rd photo you can see the back of the car and on the side by the bumper is the emblem I am talking about.
Mine is red too but badly faded.

Shaking head, had this been posted about 2yrs ago a friend had a 2 complete 69/70 Riv's rusting & returning to the Earth in his back yard. Showed up one day and they were gone. Guy told me he sold the for scrap & that when they loaded them they almost broke in half. Sad part they were complete cars down to the hubcaps and I told the dumb SOB to part them out ...joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

These are factory mags on the one I have, center caps but no hub caps.
The only thing that's missing from the whole car, that I have found, is the lock for the glove box.

I'll tell you Denny, I have been trying to call these people at NOS Buick parts and have left the E-Mails and have not received a answer back yet.
I am wondering if they are still in business or what??? It's a ladies voice when you call and she answers it as a realestate something and then say's it's also NOS.
I sure would like those marker lights for the sides, but they won't call me back or reply to my emails.
That's scary by it's self because, what if I send money, then I never receive my stuff, then you can't get in touch with anyone there.
Wish I new how to get in a business like that, I have nothing but time on my hands and would love to get calls about sending much needed parts out to people.
I sure as heck would not be ignoring them when I got calls and e-mails from them wanting parts. That's not a good way to run a business.
Wish I knew where they got all their parts from, then I would start one for Buick's.

Kurt, if you can't get in touch with them, maybe join v8buick.com and place a WTB ad on there. I'm sure one of those guys have some on there. They seem to have every other rare Buick part.Ryan
