is it fairly ez to change this over ??
hey guys got me an issue with my 98 Chevy pick up i am still old school i prefer my manual door locks and windows lol... but the problem is it started with a outer door handle replacement and turned into a the inner door panel pooped the bed, specificly the window crank rollers decided to crumble on reinstall. now the funny thing i find is the panel itself was never really in good shape to begin with fellow who sold the truck to me was not to inclined to be gentle with things and it was bent some what from him blowing the inner door handle out and cutting a guide hole for the latch rod through the outer panel for the door latch rod..long story there lol..but my issue is none of the wreckers in a 200 km radius of where i am have a manual inner door plate..and the dealer discontinued the part i'm looking for..So how hard would it be to swap this out and just put power windows and door locks into the truck i can find real good matching trim door panels for my interior at my locale wreckers five minutes away for a somewhat fair price..any thought on this is great thanks ahead of time guys..Last edited by chevythunder; 03-28-2014 at 05:50 PM.
