yea threw the numbers into the compression calculator on summit. gave me a cr of 10.83:1..

also the pro comp connecting rods.. i was reading super chevy and they used them in two of there small block builds. now i know of them being not balanced very well but my lower end is being sent out and balanced anyway... they r the forged hbeam rods ... have you used them in any builds.?

You did turn it thru at least 2 complete revolutions??? good deal---lots of folks don't get that correct--they think that closet v/p is at top dead center when it isn't , but at about 10 degrees before/after on the overlap ----------
We haven't used any of the pro comp rods-------

we went though it prolly like 9 or 10 revolutions.. about 3 revolutions per timing mark.. all of them revealed the same clearance ... and ok the build on super chevy was a small block 400 with a 175 shot of n2o on it making 732 horse and 729 lb-ft so im guessing they r ok haha
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
