I have a 1986 Chevy Silverado, and I am wondering what would be the best motor for me to build for it. I want it to have plenty of power for the strip, but I also will be driving it daily. I dont mind running high grade fuel, but I would rather not have to run racing fuel all the time. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it a two wheel drive? Is it an extended cab version? Any idea how heavy it is? If you want a heavy vehicle to move qucikly, you will need cubes, gears and converter.
Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.
