I'll have to ponder that........ Ever looked into fiberglass body shell? I just wonder if there is anything out there that would hold up to street use. Corvettes do sorta'. I suppoze one could buy a glass shell and reinforce it from inside? I think i would rather just find a finished product tho. I've gone the make your own fiberglass parts before and really don't want to revisit that The glass body shell for gen 2 that I looked into wieghed in at 100 lbs. Very lite, but I bet it would be very flimzy. Recomended for drag strip use only. Then I heard from some people that the company I was inquiring about may be a little shady, so I went back to the steel shell plan. Probobly will get a straighter paint job out of the steel anyway."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

I had actually thought about seeing if anyone of the companys would make a complete shell for my goat but then i got to thinkin the same thing you are....it probaly would not hold up to street use very well plus the roof and rear quarters are the only part of the original car i have left sooooooSomewhere out on Woordward ave. cruzin!
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
