I'm Back
Charlie sold his ferrari. the cost of upkeep was way higher than expected. out of the money he got for the ferrari he brought a 2005 cadillac ctsv. He then tells me to find my old monte. I told him that i know where it is and the guy that has it has cut it up to make a drag car out of it. So he told me to find another. Below is the link to the one i found and we are going to pick it up saturday. I am so happy. Still working out in my head what all i want to do with it. so many possibilities. would really appreciate what you guys think.

Welcome back, Barb! It will be good to see you working through the decision process on how this one needs to be done. How about a nice crate engine - Ford Racing Performance Parts Crate EnginesRoger

i am really not keen on a fuel cell. never had one before and want something that has a fuel gauge hooked up. the guy said that it was a 12 gallon jaz cell. would really like to sell the whole setup and get a regular 16 gal. tank. what would a decent asking price for it. my intention is to also get a 70's 350 and do a rebuild kit and put a th400 behind it. do i really need a gear that big in the rear. would like to move the car nicely but not get beat up on the mpg on the interstate.BARB

Welcome back into the family Barb. I hadn't realized you had sold your last Monte or I must of fallen asleep when all the action happened. I like Meller's comment about buying old tin as to me that orange car is too modern for my liking but we all can't be biten with the same bug or desires and anyway, that is going to be an intersting project for you . Now wasn't you just recently saying it was good to get all that old grease and oily dirty out from under your finger nails ???
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
