I would like to know if anyone could tell me if there are any newer car out there that i can get all the disc brakes off of to put on my 55 with power booster. i'm going to put a bigger rearend in it soon so a rear with disc now will work. I'm going to be puttin a big block in and moving the rear leaf springs to the inside of the frame for bigger tires. the current rear is 54" from inside of the drum to the other. If I move the springs the narrowest I could go is 44" with 1" of clearance on either side on the inside of the tires. I can move the spring perches to work with my sptrnigs so that isn't a problem. As close as possible. I will also need some info on up dateing the steering boxs from any of the new cars out there.
