If thats it I second the opinion, the last pick you can zoom in and see the sag in the roof, starting with a project like that might make you want to end your hobby! Firewall is not even bonded to the body on the engine side and lots of glass strands showing, not built or stored on a solid frame either. Best of luck but beware! The price is $1,700 and the phone number traces to Showtime Rods, so that has to be the body in question.Jack

Sorry, I've been busy and haven't been on here. That's the body, and that's why I asked. I have worked on a lot of drag cars and even some of the good companies turn out some bad stuff. The light wt stuff would still look terrible after a few week ends in the sun. I've never had any experience with the hot rod bodies. I'd way rather have original steel. Even if I'd have to drive a long ways to get something that wasn't rusted away.

That's pretty funny, Roger.
Why not? Let's order something from a company who bought out He-who-shall-not-be-named, based on an incomplete website put up by a guy named "Shooter" who gives out no information about himself, his experience . . . or even his real name. A company who also suggests that you correspond by email, but says you can call if you MUST.
I'm not judging the quality of his work, because I haven't seen it. Just saying what I know.Jack

I knew when I saw the "G" name that it would stir strong emotions, Jack. For those who may not recall or have been around at the time, Jack invested a ton of time and talent turning a pigs ear into a silk purse lowboy coupe. Some of his tales of frustration were bordering on tragic, but we smile about them now, right Jack?Roger
