Help! Can you identify this front suspension?
Hi! Bought a 53 Ford F100 with a Ford a 460 engine and Ford Nine Inch rear end but do not know what the front suspension is out of. Where can I find part numbers for identification? Maybe the pictures will help?

well since it looks like it was made for a front sump pan application-I would maybe look at something that had a 460.
Thunderbird? look at steering box, spindles, brake calipers for casting/id numbers
Does your engine have a crank snout power steering pump?
welcome to chr

Lower control arms and struts look like Pinto/Mustang II, but need some further photos of the steering and upper control arm. Steering looks conventional to me, rather than R&P. Is that a spring spacer under the spring? That would make sense, the motor and front end of the truck are too heavy for the flimsy little Pinto/MII pieces.

It has the look of the 65 and up full size Ford, that same type suspension was also used in the 72 and up Torino and other models. Something does not look right with the springs.
