    Jack and Jackstand Placement

I have a 1936 Ford pickup with original style chassis and Mustang II style front suspension and crossmember. What are the best locations for a floor jack and jackstands to get the entire front end off the floor? Can I jack from the middle of the crossmember and put the jackstands on either side or is there a better solution?
    Thanks.

I've got a Kugal IFS, I jack it up from the center of the Xmember and place stands under the lower A arm pivot point on the frame.

I find it easier as it gets tight with the jack and stands sharing the same real estate.

My 36 sedan has MII front and I jack mine up exactly as 34_40 says to. Recently though I purchased a set of Quick Jacks and they work extremely well at raising the whole car up in a jiffy.

Thanks for the feedback. It's nice to have some confirmation before trying something.
