Two square-bore carbs mount sideways on it; similar to how you'd bolt carbs on top of a blower. They say sideways mounting keeps holley-type carbs from draining float bowls and leaning out during hard launches.

For sure!! I recall Jim's torsion bar suspension on at least one of his builds, but I'm not sure which one! Maybe the Track T?? He's a talented builder.
