    Acid Dipping

I am wanting to have my car acid dipped. Does anyone know of a place that acid dips in Louisiana or the surrounding states (Texas, Arkansas, or Mississippi)??

I called information to try and get the number for Redistrip, but they said they could not find a number for the business. Do you know of anything else I could try?

A friend of mine just had his duster stripped and i think it was in ohio. They did the whole car in one pass. Some places can only do half at a time. Seems like he said it was $1700. If that distance is not out of your range i'll get the name and #. He's gone ballistic on this duster. A 73 with a 500 HP 340. All removeable suspension parts have been powder coated and major bucks are being spent. You can see it at the nationals if they get it done but he's not doing it himself. He's just writing the checks. He came over saturday and got a look at how the real world does a resto or should i say the poor folk. I told him he'd have $30,000 in his car and he informed me it would be closer to $50,000. It's what he wants and he's done good so why not. It's only money.

The really cool thing about having your car dipped is you have about a 90% chance that they won't get the solution out of all the nooks and crannies so it will creep out later and ruin the new paint you put on it.

Thanks for all of the information. I am still looking for a company down here that acid dips, but I feel like Redi Strip will be able to help me out.

I finally found the name of the company in Jackson, and then I finally found the phone number. I think I will end up having it dipped as soon as I can get around to it.

Well if acid dipping is not the best stripping method, what would be?
